1st & 3rd Wednesdays each month at the Denny’s restaurant located at 1313 Willow Pass Rd. in Concord
Social meeting: 6:30 – 8:30 PM with activities announcements at 7:30
June, July, August and September
We have BBQ meetings on the 1st Wednesdays, during the summer months!
1st Wednesday: Rodgers-Smith Park at 738 Grayson Rd. in Pleasant Hill
Bring your own drink and a food item to BBQ, plus a salad or dessert to share
3rd Wednesday: Join us for dinner at Denny’s
Activities
The SNOWCHASERS enjoy wine tasting, hiking, bicycling, concerts, theatre trips or anything else that sounds like fun.
The SNOWCHASERS ski race team participates in recreational ski racing through Open League Racing (OLRC). We are also members of the Bay Area Snowsports Council (BAC) and Far West Ski Association (FWSA). More information can be found on our Racing page.
Travel
Members of the Snowchasers enjoy participating in the various trips offered by the FWSA including an annual weeklong trip to a ski resort west of the Rockies in North America. These trips typically include lodging, discounted lift tickets, optional ski races, a picnic, parties, and a banquet. Air and ground transfer options are available. Mini-week ski trips are also available. FWSA also offers International Ski Trips with optional one or two week extensions as well as Scuba/Snorkel Dive Trips. History
The Snowchasers ski club was started in 1983 when several skiers found their mates at the Rusty Bindings singles ski club and got married. Suddenly, they were no longer welcome in the singles ski club they had been in, so they started their own club, the Snowchasers, welcoming singles, couples, families, anyone who wanted to join!
